Samantha Jane

Samantha Jane is a woman’s knitwear accessory line that is designed and made locally in Calgary, AB. Our luxury Winter products are hand made using natural fibres and classic, contemporary silhouettes. Each cozy accessory is inspired by and starts with the textile/fabric, which has been developed through experimentation with traditional and non-traditional knitting techniques.

Designer Bio

Samantha Reed studied at the Alberta College of Art + Design, where she earned a Bachelor of Fine Art, with a major in Fibre. After graduating from ACAD in 2009, Samantha travelled to Scotland to study at the Glasgow School of Art, where she received a Masters of Design, in Textiles for Fashion. While studying at the Glasgow School of Art, Samantha specialized in knitwear and pattern cutting, exploring her keen interest in designing fabrics to use in one of a kind fashionable garments and accessories. Samantha now designs her collections and custom commissions in Calgary, AB.
